Piers is the founding Director of specialist building sustainability consultancy, Delta Q. He has Passivhaus experience across wide ranging construction and building types including low, mid- and high-rise housing and primary and secondary education. EnerPHit projects include a barn conversion and a SEND school. He believes that the Passivhaus Standard provides the template for how we should be building in the climate emergency, but that we need to combine this with low embodied and life cycle carbon.

Piers enjoys grappling with the technical challenges that arise from the design and construction of large and complex Passivhaus buildings, but recognises that excellent communication, collaboration and information management are equally important to successful delivery of excellent buildings which perform as intended.
