Eric is a Passivhaus Consultant, Chartered Water and Environmental Manager and Chartered Environmentalist. For the past 27 years, his 'day job' mostly involved water supply & sanitation in low-income countries during which time he helped to co-found BushProof, an award-winning business based in Madagascar.

After gaining experience through carrying out a deep retrofit on his own house, Eric retrained as a Passivhaus Consultant to help other homeowners do the same - he does this through his business ColdProof. Eric is passionate about the need for retrofit in the UK which has been his motivation for helping to develop the Passivhaus Tradesperson course.
