It's great to be along side so many passionate people who are wanting to improve the industry and have open discussion about it.
What is the most useful thing you have learned?
Learning from the top down the full process of Passivhaus and retrofit and learning why often labour costs are overlooked in the design process. It was very in depth about new data in moisture risk.
How has this course benefited you?
I've learnt more about the risks that designers and architect face. The course has given me the confidence to ask the right questions if I feel the design isn't the most efficient and cost-effective way for the client.
Do you have any tips for future participants?
Never think you know it all. The Industry is constantly changing and there is always more to learn. Being in a situation where there are so many positive thinkers is a great learning benefit too!
