What is the most useful thing you have learned?
I found the whole idea behind the energy balance and the calculations towards it very useful.
How has this course benefited you?
Gaining competence in the use of PHPP/Becoming Passivhaus designer is an instrumental and vital aspect of my current research and I hope to implement the knowledge gained in my research and subsequently in practice.
Do you have any tips for future participants?
Coming from a tropical African country, this intensive course exposed me to variety of resources and examples of best practice from many parts of the world. I particularly love that it touches on strategies applicable to different climates. I'd definitely recommend this course to those curious about the inner workings of the comfortable and efficient buildings that the Passivhaus standard presents. Tips: Keep up with the course pace and participate as much as possible.
