What did you think of the course?
Collaborative, throughout the presentations there was ample opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions. The information presented was derived from practical experience, it was clear that the process has and will continue to be a learning exercise, continually improving knowledge and execution.
What was the key learning outcome for you?
Gathering of information as early as possible so that strategic decisions on methods can be made effectively, e.g. method of insulation, method of achieving air tightness. Existing buildings, especially older can have multiple construction types which demand different approaches with associated interfaces between those approaches.
How will you apply what you learned?
Knowledge from this course has been applied to a number of current projects.
